Raymond Poincare was the president of France during World War 1. During his time he helped Britain fight the Germans and became victorious but Raymond thought that Germany needed punished. When the treaty of Versailles was wrote Raymond felt it was to lenient and thought Germany should have been punished more. Because of this Raymond did not sign up for a re-election and rejoined the senate.
